Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager of Parking, Fleet & Transportation, this role ensures the safe and timely transport of hospital staff, patients, and supplies across all Moffitt campuses. It may also support other Parking, Fleet, and Transportation functions as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Perform routine preventative maintenance on all vehicles, including fluid and tire checks.
2. Follow designated routes to efficiently deliver and pick up items across Moffitt campuses.
3. Adhere to traffic laws to ensure safety for all.
4. Assist in cleaning and sanitizing vehicles.
5. Maintain spreadsheets for specimen and item deliveries if required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License upon hire.
• At least 3 years of healthcare, customer service, or related experience.
• Ability to operate various vehicle sizes, from electric trams to full-sized vans.
• Ability to inspect vehicle components for safety.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Excel, Outlook, and mapping software.
