Job summary

Singer Group in Carson, CA is seeking a Supply Continuity Analyst to lead risk management and continuity initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to safeguard inventory availability and supplier performance, while guiding procurement policy and cost controls.

This role requires analytical thinking, strong communication with executives, and the ability to drive improvements in a fast-paced environment. Onsite schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and mathematics.
• Knowledge of procurement strategies and negotiating skills.
• 2–3 years in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single voice for the Supply Chain during risk or crisis events.
• Lead impact assessments and coordinate with supply and operations teams.
• Provide real-time updates and mitigation strategies with senior leaders.
• Develop and maintain long-term supply continuity roadmap and capabilities.
• Conduct regular risk sensing, environmental scanning, and benchmarking.
• Establish mitigation strategies for top supply risks.
• Drive policy, process, and system changes for visibility of sub-tier supply.
• Develops and maintains Singer’s procurement rules and regulations.
• Evaluate price, reliability, quality, and availability of goods/services.
• Ensure on-time delivery at or below planned costs.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors to reduce total material cost.
• Identify constraints impacting production schedules.

What You'll Do:

• Lead impact assessments, coordinating efforts across the supply and operations teams
• Work closely with senior Supply Chain leaders to provide real-time situational updates and mitigation strategies
• Develop and maintain long-term supply continuity program roadmap and capabilities
• Conduct regular risk sensing, environmental scanning, and industry benchmarking
• Establish mitigation strategies for top Supply Chain risks (i.e., geo concentration, single/sole source)
• Drive policy, process, and system changes to achieve increased visibility/mapping of sub-tier supply chain
• Develops and maintains Singer’s procurement rules and regulations
• Evaluates price, reliability, quality, technical supports and availability of goods and services
• Accountable for on-time delivery of purchased material, at (or below) planned costs
• Negotiates pricing with vendors to reduce total material cost
• Identifies constraints that may impact production schedules

Who We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant fields
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and mathematics
• Knowledge of procurement strategies and negotiating skills
• Two to three (2-3) years of related experience in new product development, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or development engineering
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills
• Forward-looking, strategic-minded, and action-oriented
• Understand and sense potential risks and threats to the supply chain, evolving risk programs accordingly
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, volatile, and ambiguous environment
• Work independently, lead projects, multi-task, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
