Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to perform essential supply handling, stocking, and inventory control. You will place backorder slips, track fulfillment, and survey units for unused equipment for return to Central Service.

You will perform other duties as needed to keep the unit stocked and efficient. Applicants should have at least one year of inventory or stocking experience in a hospital or related setting and be able to read, write, and communicate

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English is required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with common software.
• Experience stocking or inventory in a hospital setting preferred.

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Technician performs supply handling duties such as product ordering, stocking, inventory checks, and other basic inventory management functions. Places backorder slips on appropriate bin and removes when order is fulfilled. Surveys unit for unused equipment and returns it to Central Service to be processed. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience

Minimum one year inventory or stocking experience in a hospital or related field preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
• Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position;
