Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Supply Chain Distribution Tech II (Team Lead) to oversee daily distribution activities across the Main Campus, Clinics Building, and Corporate Center loading docks. You will mentor team members and drive service excellence to support patient care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Distribution Representative or in a related logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or healthcare operations role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and dispatch staff to ensure timely delivery of supplies, equipment, paperwork, and services.
  • Prioritize urgent requests (STAT, ROUTINE, TIMED).
  • Monitor workloads and adjust assignments for efficiency.
  • Create daily staffing assignments and shift coverage.
  • Support inventory management, replenishment, and distribution.
  • Resolve operational issues and serve as a staff resource.
  • Collaborate with departments to maintain seamless service.
  • Assist recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training.
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff.
  • Support quality improvement and process enhancements.
  • Help implement new systems and best practices.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Supply Chain Distribution Tech II (Team Lead) is responsible for overseeing daily distribution activities and ensuring that caregivers have the supplies, equipment, and resources they need to provide exceptional patient care. In this leadership role, you will coordinate operations across the Main Campus, Clinics Building, and Corporate Center loading docks, mentor team members, and drive service excellence throughout the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Coordinate and dispatch staff to ensure timely delivery of supplies, equipment, paperwork, and services
  • Prioritize requests based on urgency, including STAT, ROUTINE, and TIMED needs
  • Monitor workloads and adjust assignments to maximize efficiency and service levels
  • Create daily staffing assignments and ensure appropriate shift coverage
  • Support inventory management, replenishment, and distribution activities
  • Investigate and resolve operational challenges while serving as a resource for staff and customers
  • Partner with departments across the organization to maintain seamless service and support
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and continuous process enhancements
  • Help implement new systems, procedures, and operational best practices
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and foster a positive, collaborative work culture
  • Train and develop Distribution, Dispatch, and Logistics team members
  • Contribute to employee performance evaluations and onboarding processes
  • Communicate departmental goals, initiatives, and operational updates effectively
  • Assist management with staffing coordination and employee support

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as a Distribution Representative or in a related logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or healthcare operations role
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience
  • Experience in healthcare, hospital, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Experience working with inventory management systems and materials management software
