Job summary

Orlando Regional Medical Center is seeking a Supply Chain Team Leader to coordinate daily operations across the ORMC Central Supply. You will lead Supply Techs, manage inventory, and generate reports to support hospital efficiency and patient care.

This role emphasizes process improvements, collaboration with hospital departments, and proactive problem-solving to ensure supplies are available when needed. A strong leadership background and in-depth inventory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of warehousing or retail experience, including receiving, inventory management, and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility supply chain operations in accordance with Orlando Health policies and procedures
• Lead daily workflow and provide guidance to Supply Techs
• Generate inventory, management, and operational reports
• Process product additions, modifications, and system file updates
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
• Monitor inventory discrepancies and report fluctuations
• Support receiving, requisitioning, order processing, charging, and crediting of supplies
• Conduct quality assurance checks and departmental audits
• Create and maintain employee schedules and department meetings
• Round with hospital departments to identify and resolve supply needs
• Perform basic system troubleshooting
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a professional image and deliver outstanding customer service

About the Role

The Supply Chain Team Leader is responsible for coordinating daily department operations, leading supply chain activities, supporting Supply Technicians, and ensuring efficient inventory management throughout the hospital and off-site locations.
