Job summary

UF Health Central Florida is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead Procurement, Warehouse Distribution and Inventory Control, with oversight of Shipping/Receiving. You will coordinate product conversions and provide operational authority in the Division Director's absence.

The role requires 3–5 years of direct management experience and 3+ years in healthcare supply chain services, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional background, and English proficiency.

Job description

Overview

Under the direction of the Division Director, this position is responsible for managing and directing the Procurement, Warehouse Distribution and Inventory Control functions of UF Health Central Florida. The manager also has oversight to Shipping/Receiving functions and staff. Authority to coordinate all product conversion within Central Supply areas in order to ensure proper implementation of conversion processes in coordination with the other leadership within supply chain. Assumes operational authority for department in the absence of the Division Director.

• Education
  • High School Diploma/GED req
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Health Service Administration or related fields req OR 5 years experience in health care supply chain operations with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role may be accepted in lieu of a degree
• Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • CMRP certification preferred
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in expense reductions, benchmarking and Group Purchasing Organization compliance.
