Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Global Supply Chain Systems Intern in Indianapolis, IN for Summer 2027. You will cooperate with global manufacturing and supply chain leaders to enhance planning, production, and execution systems.

Expect hands-on exposure to production scheduling, system integration, data analytics, and change management while delivering a high-impact project. Be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with strong data presentation skills and a proactive communication style.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and present data to support decision making.
• Document processes and improvements and communicate findings visually.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility every workday.

Responsibilities

• Support a focused supply chain systems or operational improvement project by defining the problem, gathering requirements, organizing activities, and tracking deliverables.
• Analyze process, system, and performance data to identify gaps, issues, and opportunities for standardization or automation.
• Document current and future workflows, business requirements, decisions, lessons learned, and standard work for manufacturing and supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and understand system connections across Plan to Deliver processes.
• Create practical project tools such as trackers, dashboards, process maps, training aids, data dictionaries, or implementation checklists.
• Assist with testing, user feedback, training prep, and change readiness activities for scheduling, digital logbook, integration, or data improvement initiatives.
• Present findings, recommendations, and next steps to stakeholders at internship end.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
