Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Facility Supply Chain Supervisor to lead and optimize supply chain operations at a Texas facility. You’ll oversee receiving, distribution, replenishment, and storeroom safety stock, while guiding personnel and implementing cost-efficient processes.

The role emphasizes coordinating with the Director of Supply Chain Operations or COO, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or similar field preferred.
• Three to five years’ material management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises on-site processing, inventory and delivery of all orders.
• Assists with coordinating, managing, and evaluating supply chain personnel.
• Create a supportive environment for supply chain staff development and the delivery of supply chain solutions.
• Raise and resolve facility-based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities.
• Prepares schedule for the on-site operations.
• Attends in-service presentations and completes mandatory education sessions (infection control, patient safety, quality improvements, OSHA standards).
• Demonstrates knowledge of occurrence reporting system and uses it to report potential patient safety issues.
• Process all lost charge reports and resolves discrepancies.
• Authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices as per core competencies.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Facility Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, and directing all supply chain activities as directed by the Director of Supply Chain Operations or COO. Responsible for overseeing receiving, distributing, replenishment, and inventory management of all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stocking locations. The Facility Supply Chain Supervisor assists with coordinating, managing, and evaluating supply chain personnel.

• Supervises the on-site processing, inventory and delivery of all orders.
• Assists with coordinating, managing, and evaluating supply chain personnel.
• Create a supportive environment for supply chain staff development and the delivery of supply chain solutions.

What qualifications you will need:
