Job summary

Randstad USA in Burlington, NC is seeking a self-driven Skilled Supply Chain Supervisor for a 78,000 sq ft facility on the second shift (3 PM – 1 AM). You will lead order fulfillment teams, drive productivity, hire and onboard 2nd shift staff, and partner with supervisors to implement process improvements.

The role emphasizes safety, payroll management, and adherence to SOPs. A strong WMS background and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or supervisory roles.
• Experienced level with proven leadership in a warehouse environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Build up your people and drive goals across all categories.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team leads to implement updates and adjust second shift processes.
• Lead interviews and hiring for the 2nd shift team.
• Oversee payroll, PTO approvals and disciplinary actions.
• Provide input to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and maintain productivity standards in the warehouse management system.
• Oversee nightly outbound loading and minimize mispicks; ensure safety standards.
• Move products within the distribution center using hand trucks or equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do:

• Build Up Your People:
• Drive order fulfillment individual and team goals across all categories.
• Collaborates with other supervisors and team leads to ensure updates are implemented and changes are made to the second shift process as needed.
• Conducts team meetings and shift huddles.
• Responsible for interviewing and hiring of 2nd shift team.
• Managing team members within the company human resource software. Approving weekly payroll, personal time off and disciplinary actions.
• Day to Day:
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of operations by providing input to the Chief Supply Chain Officer.
• Reviews and maintains productivity standards for the order selection teams within the warehouse management system.
• Reports damages and/or vendor compliance issues to the proper channel within our system
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee the nightly loading of all outboundshipments.
• Ensure processes are followed and mispicks are minimized.
• Moves incoming or outgoing products throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or material handling equipment.
• Ensure the team meets safety standards.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Order Fulfilment Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising Order Fulfillment employees and managing the 2nd shift Distribution Center operations. Our Distribution Center is temperature controlled, ranging anywhere from 70 degrees in the ambient section to 40 degrees on the loading dock to 34 degrees in the cooler section to 0 degrees in the freezer section. This is a fast-paced position that requires great attention to detail, utilizing warehouse management system.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 75lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
