Job summary

Ducker Carlisle is a boutique consulting firm with a global footprint delivering supply chain optimization projects. You will support client engagements across inventory, procurement, and operations, structuring analyses and owning workstreams while collaborating with managers and client teams.

You will develop client-ready deliverables, present findings, and apply best practices. The role offers hybrid work and opportunities for growth within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; strong academic record.
• 2+ years of professional supply chain experience required.
• Hands-on experience in inventory planning/optimization, procurement, warehouse management, transportation planning, or network strategy preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to show analyses and recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; proficiency in PowerPoint required.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of concise summaries.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to own workstreams.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory analyses including segmentation, service levels, and turns.
• Perform procurement analyses: spend segmentation, supplier performance, cost drivers.
• Evaluate warehouse operations: capacity, layout, productivity, and flows.
• Analyze transportation operations: freight spend, routing, service levels, and costs.
• Support supply chain network strategy: footprint, location, and capacity tradeoffs.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
