Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Supply Network Planning Analyst to support end-to-end supply, inventory, and distribution planning across the value stream. This role combines supply network planning fundamentals with advanced analytics, reporting automation, and digital capabilities to improve visibility, service, inventory health, and decision making.

The successful candidate will partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Inventory Management, Finance, Data & Analytics, Digital, site planning teams, and downstream partners to translate business needs into feasible supply plans, actionable insights, and scalable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supply Network Planning & Net Requirements
  • Propagate net requirements upstream and constrained supply plans downstream across conversion and distribution nodes.
  • Create and support network RCCP and MPS processes, incorporating capacity, risk, trade‑off assumptions, and multi‑site constraints.
  • Review planning system outputs to validate net requirements, deployment requirements, and feasible supply plans.
  • Communicate and hand over network RCCP, MPS, and distribution plans to site planning, CLS, and affiliate supply chain partners.
  • Support supply network planning processes that enable service, inventory, and cash flow objectives.
Inventory Analytics & Optimization
  • Analyze inventory performance across Finished Goods, Raw Materials, WIP, and SLOB inventories.
  • Identify inventory risks, excesses, shortages, and optimization opportunities across the end‑to‑end value stream.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis on inventory and supply drivers, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Support entitlement models, safety stock optimization, inventory reduction programs, and planning parameter improvements.
  • Develop scenario analyses and what‑if assessments to support operational decisions, trade‑off discussions, and IBP escalation.
Distribution Planning & Execution
  • Review distribution forecasts, plan receipts, manage inventory transfers, and coordinate movement between supply chain nodes.
  • Manage deployment order exceptions, including review, approval, changes, and rejection as appropriate.
  • Monitor STO, PO, and SO life cycles to support timely and accurate execution of supply plans.
  • Collaborate with regional, local, upstream, and downstream partners to execute supply plans within established parameters and guidelines.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and self‑service analytics tools using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Automate recurring planning and inventory reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Build and maintain data workflows using Alteryx, Databricks, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Partner with data engineering and digital teams to improve data quality, accessibility, and integration from ERP, planning, and supply chain systems.
  • Support AI‑enabled analytics solutions, including Microsoft Copilot Agents, Databricks Genies, or other tools that improve analytical capabilities and user experience.
Business Partnership & Operational Support
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with supply chain, planning, finance, digital, site, and affiliate partners.
  • Communicate planning trade‑offs, inventory impacts, risks, and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Support weekly and monthly planning, inventory reporting, entitlement, KPI, and governance cycles.
  • Respond to ad‑hoc analytical requests and complete reporting deliverables accurately and on time.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, supply chain analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical roles.
  • Experience translating large datasets into actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with at least one visualization platform such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with at least one data engineering or analytics platform such as Alteryx, Databricks, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of supply, inventory, distribution, or network planning processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with RCCP, MPS, net requirements planning, deployment planning, IBP/S&OP, or end‑to‑end supply network planning.
