The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the execution of inbound and outbound logistics, customs, and inventory management for Oberalp North America. This is a key role on the Operations team, supporting the flow of international goods from our global manufacturing facilities and distribution centers to our United States warehouse. As the primary point of contact for inbound shipment coordination, this role actively tracks transit schedules, books freight and resolves potential logistics delays. Key to this function is transforming supply chain and shipping data into records within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure
accurate purchase orders, receiving, and product availability.
This role works closely with the Supply Chain and Operations Manager to oversee customs administration and trade compliance for all imports and exports. This includes verifying entry documentation, managing Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) tariff classifications, monitoring the US Customs Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) portal reporting, and staying informed on the evolving tariff landscape to evaluate impacts on landed costs. This role will also assist with other operational, supply chain, and customs projects as they arise.
