Job summary

Wintec Industries is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Security Program Manager to lead day-to-day governance and enforcement of our security program. This role covers transportation, warehouses, 3PLs, compliance audits, and risk management across our global network.

The position is hands-on, focused on protecting high-value shipments while ensuring security controls are practical, documented, and auditable, with approximately 20-30% travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Govern and maintain the Supply Chain Security Program, policies, standards, SOPs, checklists, and requirements.
• Translate customer, insurer, contractual, and company security requirements into practical operational controls.
• Establish security qualification requirements for warehouses, 3PLs, carriers, freight brokers, monitoring providers, escort providers, and other partners.
• Verify compliance with required security controls and manage security exceptions and escalations.
• Maintain documentation and evidence for customer, insurer, internal, and third-party reviews.
• Manage security for HVHR shipments, including carrier qualification, driver verification, GPS tracking, geofencing, route controls, and POD.
• Conduct or coordinate transportation lane risk assessments based on cargo value and route.
• Verify security controls before shipment release and escalate non-compliant activities.
• Evaluate transportation security performance and recommend improvements to controls, providers, and monitoring methods.

Reports to: VP of Supply Chain Operations

Wintec Industries is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Security Program Manager to lead the day-to-day governance, enforcement, and continuous improvement of our supply chain security program.

Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain Operations, this role will serve as the subject matter expert for transportation and cargo security, warehouse and facility security, 3PL security, compliance, audits, and security risk management across Wintec's global supply chain network.

This is a hands-on program management role focused on protecting high-value inventory and shipments while ensuring security requirements are practical, consistently implemented, documented, and auditable.

What You'll Do -

Supply Chain Security Governance

• Administer and maintain Wintec's Supply Chain Security Program, policies, standards, SOPs, checklists, and security requirements.
• Translate customer, insurance, contractual, and company security requirements into practical operational controls.
• Establish and maintain security qualification requirements for warehouses, 3PLs, carriers, freight brokers, monitoring providers, escort providers, and other security-sensitive partners.
• Verify compliance with required security controls and manage security exceptions and escalations.
• Maintain documentation and evidence to support customer, insurance, internal, and third-party reviews.
• Manage security requirements for high-value/high-risk (HVHR) shipments, including carrier qualification, driver and vehicle verification, GPS tracking, geofencing, route controls, authorized stops, locks/seals, escorts, monitoring, and proof of delivery.
• Conduct or coordinate transportation lane risk assessments based on cargo value, route, geography, theft exposure, and customer or insurance requirements.
• Verify required security controls before shipment release and elevate or block activities that do not meet established requirements.
• Evaluate transportation security performance and recommend improvements to controls, providers, monitoring methods, and technology.

Facility, Warehouse & 3PL Security

• Administer and verify physical security requirements for company and third-party warehouse locations.
• Assess security controls such as access control, CCTV, alarms, lighting, guard services, restricted areas, dock security, inventory protection, and visitor/vendor access.
• Coordinate security due diligence for new warehouses, 3PL providers, expansions, and significant operational changes.
• Verify that appropriate controls are in place to protect high-value inventory from theft, tampering, unauthorized access, and loss.

Audit, Compliance & Corrective Action

• Develop and maintain a risk-based security audit and assurance schedule.
• Conduct security reviews and coordinate third-party security audits.
• Document findings, risk levels, corrective actions, responsible owners, and remediation timelines.
• Maintain and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) items.
• Support customer security assessments, insurer reviews, and other security-related due diligence.

Security Incident Support

• Support the VP of Supply Chain Operations and other leadership during cargo theft, inventory loss, tampering, unauthorized access, tracking failures, and other significant security incidents.
• Coordinate collection and preservation of evidence such as GPS records, CCTV footage, BOLs, PODs, access records, driver/vehicle information, photographs, and security logs.
• Support root-cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are incorporated into procedures, controls, training, and partner requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, 3PLs, carriers, brokers, customers, insurers, law enforcement, investigators, and security consultants as needed.
• Develop practical security training and awareness materials for employees and relevant external partners.
• Monitor supply chain security standards, practices, and emerging cargo-theft risks.
• Recommend improvements to security controls, technologies, service providers, audit methods, and training.

What We're Looking For -

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain security, transportation/cargo security, corporate security, asset protection, loss prevention, logistics security, or a closely related field.
• Experience working with warehouses, 3PL providers, transportation providers, freight brokers, and/or complex supply chain operations.
• Experience administering security procedures, conducting security audits or risk assessments, verifying operational compliance, and managing corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of transportation security, cargo-theft prevention, physical security, and high-value/high-risk cargo protection.
• Ability to identify security vulnerabilities and translate requirements into practical operational controls.
• Strong analytical, documentation, project management, investigation support, and communication skills.
• Ability to enforce standards and influence internal teams and external partners without direct reporting authority.
• Ability to travel approximately 20-30%, including domestic and occasional international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience protecting high-value electronics, semiconductor components, technology products, pharmaceuticals, or other high-value/high-risk commodities.
• Familiarity with TAPA FSR/TSR, CTPAT, ISO 28000 principles, ISO 17712, or similar supply chain security frameworks.
• Experience with GPS shipment tracking, geofencing, cargo monitoring, CCTV, access control, high-security seals, escort services, and related security technologies.
• Experience supporting cargo theft/loss investigations, evidence preservation, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience working with insurers, customers, security consultants, law enforcement, or third-party investigators.
• Relevant certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, TAPA, CTPAT, or comparable professional credentials are a plus.
