Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Supply Chain Security Officer to help keep facilities safe and profitable by executing security programs and investigating suspicious activities. The role includes surveillance, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance across all access points.

You will operate CCTV systems, support shrinkage prevention, and respond to emergencies as needed, including entry control and post patrol duties across the facility.

Qualifications

• Surveillance and observation of associates and contractors.
• Report writing and record maintenance.
• Emergency response and first aid basics.
• Security operations and access control.

Responsibilities

• Conducts surveillance to observe activities that may indicate theft, fraud, or violence.
• Supports shrinkage awareness by communicating issues to Associates to maintain profitability.
• Maintains detailed reports and documentation for investigations and audits.
• Responds to emergencies and may perform CPR or aid in incident response.
• Maintains facility truck entrance operations and enforces entry/exit processes.
• Operates CCTV to identify threats relating to theft, shrinkage, violence, and safety.
• Manages posts and patrols at entry points, inside the facility, and on surrounding areas.
