Job summary

Aurora Operations, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute supply chain activities from prototype to production in a hybrid work environment at Mountain View, CA.

This role focuses on supplier readiness, BOM management, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in hardware-focused supply chain program management, strong skills in MS Project, Smartsheet, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain program management in hardware industry.
• Experience managing supply chain lifecycle from prototype through high-volume production in high-tech hardware.
• Strong fundamentals in sourcing, PPAP, supplier quality and risk management.
• Understanding of program interdependencies between hardware development and supply chain execution.
• Experience managing supply chain readiness for product launches and complex BOMs.
• Ability to design risk mitigation frameworks and perform full-BOM risk assessments.
• Ability to translate hardware concepts into material requirements and supply chain mappings.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Smartsheet for timelines and dependencies.
• Experience extracting/analyzing data from ERP/PLM systems (SAP/Oracle) and creating data visualizations (Tableau/Power BI).
• Ability to develop metrics and KPIs to measure readiness and supplier performance.
• Experience with collaboration tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, coordination, and execution support for the Supply Chain organization.
• Liaise between Supply Chain and internal stakeholders including Design Engineering, TPM, NPI, and FP&A.
• Lead procurement planning and supplier quality readiness for assigned modules.
• Own development and execution of supply chain timelines aligning top-down constraints with bottom-up dependencies.
• Map the supply chain from prototype through production.
• Analyze end-to-end supply chain performance by defining and tracking key metrics.
• Represent Supply Chain in cross-functional program meetings with status updates and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate discussions to resolve obstacles and maintain program momentum.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to track readiness and KPIs for leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement for data integrity, automation, and process optimization.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in supply chain program management in hardware industry. Requires skills and experience to involve:
• Experience managing the supply chain lifecycle from prototype through high-volume production within a high-tech hardware environment, with a strong focus on identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
• Strong supply chain management fundamentals, including expertise in sourcing, PPAP, supplier quality, and supply chain risk management.
• Deep understanding of program interdependencies between hardware development and supply chain execution, with the ability to manage schedule conflicts, build risk profiles, and lead technical discussions to mitigate supply chain risks.
• Experience managing supply chain readiness for product launches, including oversight of complex, interdependent Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Ability to design and implement risk mitigation frameworks, conduct full-BOM risk assessments, and perform “what-if” scenario planning to enhance supply chain resilience.
• Ability to interpret complex hardware design files and translate technical concepts into material requirements, supply chain mapping strategies, and clear business insights.
• Proficiency using MS Project and Smartsheet to manage cross-functional timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Ability to extract and transform data using SQL or similar query languages, generate insights using Excel or Google Sheets, and create visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience extracting and analyzing data from ERP systems (such as SAP and Oracle) and PLM systems, including detailed BOM analysis.
• Ability to develop and track relevant metrics and KPIs to measure program readiness, supplier performance, and overall supply chain resilience.
• Experience using collaboration and operational tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Tableau or similar tools.

Job duties:

Proactively coordinate discussions with stakeholders to resolve obstacles and maintain program momentum. Develop metrics and dashboards to track supply chain readiness. Establish appropriate reporting cadence and lead program reviews tailored to the audience, including preparation of concise executive-level summaries for leadership. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on data integrity, system automation, and process optimization to enhance scalability, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
