Northrop Grumman is seeking skilled and motivated professionals for the role of Supply Chain Planning Specialist with experience in supply chain management and related fields (including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing).

What you'll get to do:

  • Providing support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the program.

  • Understanding the breadth of the supply chain management scope (including materials management, procurement, subcontracts, material finance, and supplier relationship management).

  • Planning and coordinating program requirements.

  • Monitoring and establishing material inventory.

  • Addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues.

  • Evaluating suppliers and noting key performance indicators.

  • Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exhibiting leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

  • Making sound decisions on time, displaying strong interpersonal skills, and having an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by the regulated industry.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; master’s degree with 1 year of experience in supply chain, program management, and/or business management experience.

  • Experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in forecasting.

  • Experience with Supply Chain planning management and/or project management.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

  • US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in supply chain or business management.

  • Experience with Government procurement processes and regulations; FAR/DFAR.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems and practices.

  • Experience as a planner working on Aerospace and Defense programs.

  • Demonstrated experience in large electronics production programs.

  • Active DoD Secret or higher security clearance.

  • Procurement experience.

Salary Range: $70,600 - $105,800

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
