Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Intern in Tempe, AZ. You will support production scheduling, vendor management, and inventory analysis while learning end-to-end supply chain processes.

The internship offers exposure to ERP systems and Excel-based reporting, with a pathway to future full-time opportunities. The role is part-time (20–30 hours/week), with a Monday–Friday schedule and a starting compensation of $21.00 USD per hour.

Competenze

Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and communication skills are preferred.
Interest in end-to-end supply chain processes and learning-oriented mindset.

Mansioni

Analyze MRP outputs to identify shortages, excess inventory, and demand-driven needs while supporting production schedules.
Create manufacturing work orders to meet customer demand, inventory targets and capacity requirements.
Generate Outside Processing (OSP) purchase orders for subcontracted operations required to complete orders.
Coordinate with OSP suppliers to manage order status, delivery commitments and capacity constraints.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and communicate risks or delays to the planning team.
Develop and maintain reports using Excel and ERP tools to track demand, supply, and key metrics.
