Job summary

Careismatic Brands in Sherman Oaks, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, statistical models, and insights from cross-functional partners. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales, statistical models, category-level plans, and business insights.
  • Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to incorporate relevant business inputs into the forecast.
  • Monitor weekly key performance indicators and present performance insights, risks, and recommended actions to leadership.
  • Analyze and improve forecast accuracy for assigned categories and items.
  • Optimize inventory levels by aligning supply with demand and maintaining appropriate weeks of supply targets.
  • Proactively identify inventory and supply risks and develop recommendations to maintain in-stock performance at target levels.
  • Expedite work orders when necessary to support in-stock goals and minimize potential stockouts.
  • Recommend transportation changes when needed to mitigate supply risks and maintain in-stock targets.
  • Manage inventory levels by evaluating demand, supply, and safety stock parameters to maintain target inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and minimize inventory exposure while maintaining service-level goals.
  • Take ownership of assigned categories and continuously identify opportunities to improve planning processes, efficiency, and business results.

The Supply Chain Planning Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts by leveraging category-level plans, historical sales data, statistical models, and insights from cross-functional partners. This role will monitor key performance indicators, proactively identify risks and opportunities, challenge assumptions, and develop actionable solutions to optimize inventory and supply.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where they can take ownership of their business and make data-driven decisions.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in our corporate office in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Salary Range: $70,000-$82,800 DOE

What Your Day Looks Like
