Milliken & Company is seeking a VOH Supply Chain Planner for the Duncan Stewart Plant in LaGrange, GA. The role focuses on SAP-based MRP planning, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration to meet delivery targets.

Responsibilities include developing manufacturing and purchasing schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain. Excellent Excel skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience of planning in an MRP system; SAP is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; formulas, Pivot Tables, VLookups.
• High School diploma with good math skills; Higher Education is an advantage.
• Self-motivated with a flexible attitude and a determination to succeed.
• Fast and efficient problem solver; comfortable with changing priorities.
• Be an effective team player and build strong relationships across the department to enhance SCM.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting with management and production staff.
• Strong customer focus and act as the customer’s advocate in manufacturing.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet short deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan materials using SAP MRP; ensure material availability and system cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot SAP issues and develop sufficient system knowledge to achieve super-user status.
• Create manufacturing and purchasing schedules that meet customer needs at justifiable cost.
• Maintain and review inventory levels in line with company targets.
• Carry out administrative activities related to inventory adjustments and assist in managing physical inventories.
• Ensure On Time in Full delivery targets are achieved.
• Maintain good information flow with other departments and collaborate to avoid sub-optimization.
• Proactively improve personal and departmental performance.
• Maintain professional relationships with external suppliers.
• Support the Supply Chain Manager to ensure staffing, training, and enforcement of systems and procedures.
