Job summary

Textron is seeking an entry-level Specialist in Material Planning and Control to support customer forecasts, inventory management, and production scheduling using SAP MRP at our Lavonia, GA site.

Role focuses on coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, analyzing demand fluctuations, and contributing to continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or supply chain.
• Deep understanding of logistics processes and trends.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• 1+ year in automotive supply chain or 3+ years in another industry.
• Good presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Manage customer interface and forecast / call-offs.
• Monitor customer demand and respond to large fluctuations.
• Maintain target inventory levels and adhere to customer requirements.
• Coordinate engineering changes in production schedule.
• Manage component planning through SAP MRP and BOM upkeep.
