JobSummary :
This Position creates the manufacturing schedule andmonitorsit throughout the month to ensureon-timedelivery of products to customers, carryminimumadequate inventory,to meetcustomer order fulfillment targets, anddevelopssafetystocklevels. The SCP will alsosupport.
- Customer serviceinquiresinto product numbers, inventory availability, and expected production availability.
- Minimize warehousing/freightexpenseas opportunities present.
- Functions as Backup for some of the duties ofthesupply chain and traffic assistant position when needed.
- Generate a rolling1-2 weekmaster production plan for designated products. Utilize the production capacity, taking into consideration the sales forecast, historical sales, and new business opportunities
- Manages the operational forecast, getting input from sales on a 3-month rolling forecast for major accounts.
- Analyze andidentifyrisksassociated with the option built into the master production plan, including manufacturing lead times. Schedules sent to the plant/production managersareupdated.
- Make delivery commitment on MTO products, which involves checking raw materials, components, and production capacity.
- Develop inventory targets and manage production to achieve targeted inventory levels on both a cost and units basis.
- Maintain finished goods inventory atadequatelevelstoensure high service levels,I.E ,product availability.
- Review finished goods in inventory levels with sales/marketing on an as-needed basis. Supports discontinuation of non-profitableskus.
- Monitor Actual output versus the master production plan.Identifygaps andmaintainlot size/production yields information, call outperformanceissues to the request production schedule.
- Supports the S&OP departmentinitiatives.
- Updates master production plan if necessary

- Participates in TraceabilityMock trace training
- Passover planning: responsible for filing out the yearly application for the Orthodox Union. Scheduling the rabbi and obtaining the requirements from sales to create the master schedule.
- Yearly Physical: works with accounting to get this schedule, doing the count, and working with the auditors.

- Monthly activities: Making sure WIP is consumed before themonth’send, closing open material orders.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain,or related field.
2-3 years supply chain planning experience
Strong analytical planning and organizing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Strong MS Excel skills needed
MRP system experience needed
Self StarterWith ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
APIC CPIM>CSCP certification or certification in progress
