Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Supply Chain Performance Leader for their Red Oak, Texas team. This role is vital in overseeing and improving manufacturing processes, optimizing production, and enhancing efficiency. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage teams to achieve high performance in industrial operations.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree and possess extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing tools, Agile Methodologies, and project management. A robust benefits package is offered.

  • 4+ years with Production Systems such as Toyota Production System.
  • Ability to prioritize and form action plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the continuous improvement strategy for the production process.
  • Animate operational process improvements in the plant.
  • Manage plant Value Stream Mapping and improve Product Lead Time.

Job Overview

Schneider Electric has an opportunity to join our Red Oak, Texas team. As Supply Chain Performance Leader, you will oversee and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. The role focuses on optimizing production, reducing waste, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. You will analyze data, lead teams, and implement best practices to achieve high performance in industrial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the continuous Improvement strategy: In charge of the continuous improvement of the whole process, both in Front‑end & Core, from tendering to delivery.
  • Animate the continuous improvement on operational processes in plant based on Schneider Performance.
  • Challenge, follow Kaizen events and in some cases lead some of them.
  • Smart factories: Lead the deployment of the smart factory solutions in plant; the point of contact of the IPM and global smart factory leader.
  • Productivity: Define yearly action plan to build productivity.
  • Follow productivity action plan and ensure achievement of the Direct Labor Productivity target.
  • Report the Direct Labor Productivity to support functions using standard tools and processes.
  • Ensure transverse animation to sustain the Schneider Production System (SPS) level in the plant, including implementation of action plans driven by SPS assessment.
  • Ensure growing skills at all levels in the factory on the principles of manufacturing excellence.
  • Manage the plant Value Stream Mapping (current & future state) and lead the continuous improvement of Product Lead Time by animating transverse action plan at plant level.
  • Ensure implementation of the concept of green / red, principles of SPS, architecture lines, Short Interval Management, Material Providing & Handling.

  • Red Oak Plant Manager
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Visual management, Kaizen, etc.) is required.
  • 4+ years of experience with any type of Production Systems (e.g., Toyota Production System or similar).
  • Extensive experience with Agile Methodologies/Project Management.
  • Ability to set overall priorities and form action plans for implementation & monitoring results.
  • Experience with cost‑saving projects for a manufacturing plant.
  • Experience in industrial mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
  • Ability to interact and lead others in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem‑solving, project management and communication skills.
  • Experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process; lead by influence.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) is required.
