Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a Supply Chain Operations Coord­inator to support warehouse, shipping, receiving and inventory control in Massachusetts. You will help ensure accurate records, timely processing, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in inventory/ship/receiving, ERP experience, and a customer-service mindset. Weekend first shift with a 15% second shift differential offers a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Inventory Control or Shipping & Receiving.
  • ERP experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain materials, equipment, and supplies for logistics functions.
  • Monitor inventory integrity and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain dock/warehouse safety protocols and cleanliness.
  • Receive/verify purchase orders and stock items accordingly.
  • Perform cycle counts, audits, and report findings.
  • Respond to internal inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
  • Adhere to hazmat storage and shipping plans; support QA/QC.

Supply Chain Operations Coordinator

As a member of the CFS Supply Chain Operations Team, this associate is responsible for assisting the department in meeting company objectives through warehouse and materials management. Ensures timely processing of shipping, receiving and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, will be thoroughly organized and have the ability to manage a variety of tasks.

Work Hours – Weekend First Shift

Friday: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Saturday: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm

Sunday: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm

Monday: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Pay

$30-40 per hour + 15% second shift differential.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain materials, equipment, and supplies required to meet CFS logistics related job functions.
  • Monitor and control inventory integrity; resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Maintain physical condition of loading dock and warehouse and ensure safety protocols are observed.
  • Receive and verify purchase orders, and stock items appropriately.
  • Complete physical inventories, cycle counts, random or receipt audits, reconciliations and report the findings.
  • Respond to internal customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track, report, identify non‑conforming or damaged parts, and quarantine damaged products during an incoming inspection with guidance from QA/QC team(s).
  • Assist in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets for incoming materials.
  • Obey all CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors while maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with CFS HAZMAT storage and shipping plans.
  • Identify and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Other tasks as reasonably requested by leadership.
Qualifications
  • Ability to operate various material handling equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years combined experience in Inventory Control or Shipping and Receiving.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in ERP functionality (required).
  • Exceptional understanding of inventory and warehouse operations.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office and G-Suite applications.
  • Possess problem‑solving skills with a bias for speed.
  • Quick learner who adapts to new information and environments.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
  • Organizational skills and accuracy, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
  • Integrity, respect, commitment to excellence, collaboration, creativity, and agility.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to execute tasks in high‑pressure environments with tight deadlines and frequent interruptions.
  • Positive, creative, collaborative problem‑solving mindset with customer focus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to write concise, logical and grammatically correct business correspondence.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in a start‑up or high‑growth environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform activities such as stopping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics.
