Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks a Materials/Supply Chain associate in Peoria to support inventory analysis, data queries and daily replenishment within the Pointcore partnership serving the healthcare network.

The role uses ERP systems to input data, perform cycle counts, process orders, and coordinate substitutions with sales. Require 2–3 years materials management and strong Excel/Access skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY: Reports to Supply Chain Management. This position may perform a variety of duties including but not limited to; analyze spreadsheet data, run queries, utilize ERP system for data input and upkeep, approve orders, order supplies, research substitute products, contact sales representatives for resolution of issues, conduct cycle counts of inventory, issues supplies, fill orders, maintain inventory, receive supplies. Perform clerical duties such as answering telephones, taking and relaying routine information, and completing necessary documentation.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations, in order to check and restock supply carts, fill orders, take and relay information, and complete documentation at a level normally acquired through completion of an associate’s degree (preferred).

Two to three years of materials management experience is desired. Must have the ability to learn terminology and procedures to complete assignments. Ability to read in order to transcribe data and/or enter data into computer terminal, to write in orders, to take orders from phone calls, and to follow oral and written instructions in adhering to established work priorities.

Ability to operate a computer and perform data analysis through Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and Access as well as ERP system. Must have good knowledge of Excel and Access programs.
