  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management, or operations.
  • Experience in oil and gas, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or engineered-to-order products.
  • Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, purchasing, inventory, and production planning.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement, material planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance for ESP products.
  • Ensure the availability of critical components, including motors, pumps, seals, cables, protectors, sensors, drives, and related equipment.
  • Develop supply plans that support production schedules, customer orders, and field-service requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, performance reviews, corrective actions, and development plans.
  • Monitor supplier delivery, quality, cost, capacity, and responsiveness.
  • Establish inventory targets, safety stock, reorder points, and controls for critical and long-lead materials.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, sales, and project management to meet customer commitments.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including shortages, supplier capacity constraints, transportation issues, and material disruptions.
  • Track supply chain performance metrics, including on-time delivery, inventory turns, material shortages, purchase price variance, and expedite costs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop purchasing, planning, materials, and warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable industry regulations.

  • Assist with warehouse layout, material flow, inventory accuracy, and cycle-count programs.
  • Support business continuity and contingency planning for critical suppliers and materials.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management, or operations.
  • Experience in oil and gas, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or engineered-to-order products.
  • Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, purchasing, inventory, and production planning.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electric submersible pumps, artificial lift systems, downhole equipment, or related oilfield products.
  • Experience with long-lead, engineered components and project-based manufacturing.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or similar professional certification.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of international sourcing, import/export requirements, and trade compliance.
  • Experience with supplier quality programs and corrective action processes.
