Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Manage stock levels to meet operational requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
• Inventory tracking: Implement tracking systems and conduct audits to maintain accuracy.
• Procurement: Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts for cost-effective procurement.
• Supplier relationships: Build strong relationships to support timely delivery and quality.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate movement between suppliers, MRO shop and customers; optimize transport.
• Procurement planning: Analyze and forecast demand to guide procurement decisions.

The business is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to oversee the supply chain operations of its Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) shop in Miami.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control, along with a practical approach to increasing efficiency and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Manage stock levels to meet operational requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
• Implement effective inventory-tracking systems and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support timely delivery and consistent product quality.

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate the movement of materials and products between suppliers, the MRO shop, and customers.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize transportation and delivery processes.

Procurement

• Analyze and forecast demand to guide procurement strategies and purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with the business's procurement policies and procedures.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen overall supply chain performance.

Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare regular reports covering inventory levels, supplier performance, and key supply chain metrics.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights that support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of supply chain management experience, preferably within an MRO shop or repair station.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
• Proficiency with supply chain software and tools, including ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across teams.
