Job summary

Amazon Robotics seeks an intern to support Supply Chain planning, sourcing, logistics, and systems and tools. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve transactional and operational efficiency while gaining hands-on experience in a robotics-focused environment in North Reading, MA or Westborough, MA.

Qualifications

• Are enrolled in or have completed a program located in the United States in engineering or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, SharePoint & PowerPoint; SQL and Tableau preferred.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and good written/verbal communication skills.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of Supply Chain and Systems and Tools processes and identify targets for improvement in transactional and operations efficiencies.
• Support execution of supply chain cost/lead time, safety stock, procurement, planning, warehousing/logistics, and/or new product introduction programs across multiple Amazon units.
• Lead projects to automate cross-functional processes between Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Deployment, and Engineering.
• Develop processes and mechanisms to expand capacity and programs in the Robotics Operations Center of Excellence.
• Develop metrics and reporting for supply chain performance; support introduction of new software/tools/dashboards.
• Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion.

The Supply Chain intern works within the Supply Chain organization to support the development of business processes for the Supply Chain Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Logistics, and Systems and Tools teams. The intern should have a good understanding of supply chain, operations, finance, and general business practices.

Please note that by applying to this role you would be considered for Robotics Supply Chain 2027 summer intern, spring co-op, and fall co-op roles on various Amazon Robotics teams. These teams work on robotics supply chain within procurement, demand planning, logistics, commodity management, and others.

Basic Qualifications:

• Are 18 years of age or older
• Are enrolled in or have completed a academic program that is physically located in the United States in enginnering or equivalent
• Are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with MS Excel, Word, SharePoint & PowerPoint
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in software development
• 1-2 years of experience in supply chain
