Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in purchasing or supply chain in manufacturing; management preferred.
• Hands-on purchasing and supplier management experience.
• Experience with ERP/NetSuite and process improvement.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, forecasting, and inventory control hands-on.
• Supervise a Buyer and prioritize workload.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors for best value.
• Use trend analysis for raw material procurement from global suppliers.
• Expedite orders to meet delivery timelines.
• Document and implement improved purchasing workflows.
• Lead change management across departments.
• Maintain records in NetSuite and monitor vendor performance.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and BOM workbooks.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
