This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building a proactive, disciplined, and data-driven supply chain organization. The Manager of Supply Chain will partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to ensure material availability, production execution, inventory optimization, cost control, and on-time customer delivery.

A key priority for this position will be strengthening the use of NetSuite ERP as the primary system of record, improving data accuracy, standardizing processes, and reducing reliance on manual tracking and spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Supply Chain team while establishing clear accountability, standardized processes, and measurable KPIs.
  • Manage purchasing, procurement, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing activities.
  • Lead material planning and proactively identify shortages, constraints, and supply risks.
  • Own the production scheduling process, coordinating customer demand, material availability, inventory, labor, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Establish inventory strategies to improve inventory accuracy, turns, working capital, and excess/obsolete inventory.
  • Manage inbound and outbound freight and logistics, including carrier performance, freight costs, premium freight, and delivery reliability.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, cost, capacity, lead time, and responsiveness.
  • Support customer delivery commitments and proactively elevate potential delivery risks.
  • Lead the implementation, optimization, and utilization of NetSuite supply chain processes.
  • Develop ERP workflows, reporting, dashboards, controls, and standardized operating procedures.
  • Improve supply chain data accuracy, including item master, supplier, inventory, lead-time, purchasing, scheduling, receiving, and shipping information.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cost, improve service, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce operational risk.
  • Develop, coach, cross-train, and establish performance expectations for Supply Chain team members.
Key Performance Indicators

Success will be measured through improvements in:

  • Supplier on-time delivery and lead-time performance
  • Purchase price variance
  • Inventory accuracy and inventory turns
  • Excess and obsolete inventory
  • Schedule adherence
  • Material shortages and production disruptions
  • Freight and premium freight costs
  • On-time customer shipments
  • ERP utilization and transaction/data accuracy
  • Overall supply chain cost and performance
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Progressive experience in manufacturing supply chain, purchasing, materials management, planning, scheduling, inventory, or logistics.
  • Previous leadership experience managing multiple supply chain functions.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production constraints.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning.
  • Strong supplier-management and negotiation experience.
  • Proven ability to establish processes, KPIs, accountability, and operating discipline.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NetSuite ERP implementation or optimisation experience strongly preferred; experience with a comparable ERP system will also be considered.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience.
  • Experience with inventory optimisation and supplier scorecards.
  • Experience leading ERP implementation, process standardisation, and employee training.
