This role aligns supply, demand, and logistics to optimize cost, service, and scalability while supporting production and customer demand. The position requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to drive improvements across procurement, planning, and distribution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or related field.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
  • Experience managing end-to-end supply chains in manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen; ERP/MRP proficiency (NetSuite a plus).
  • Ability to lead teams through ambiguity and change with clear communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support growth, margins, and service levels.
  • Lead supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, performance management, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure continuity of supply with balanced lead times, MOQ, and cost constraints.

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain & Operations is responsible for end-to-end supply chain execution, including supply chain strategy, planning, inventory management, supplier performance, and warehouse operations. This role focuses on material availability, optimized inventory, and reliable fulfillment while supporting production and customer demand. The position serves as a cross-functional leader, aligning supply, demand, and logistics to meet business objectives related to cost, service, and scalability.

This role focuses on material availability, optimized inventory, and reliable fulfillment while supporting production and customer demand. The position serves as a cross-functional leader, aligning supply, demand, and logistics to meet business objectives related to cost, service, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, margin objectives, and service levels.
  • Lead supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, performance management, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Ensure continuity of supply while balancing lead times, minimum order quantities, and cost constraints.
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing to support production requirements and new product introductions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve supply risks, constraints, and disruptions.
Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management
  • Support and mentor the team with demand planning and inventory strategy across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Translate sales forecasts and customer demand into executable purchasing, production support, and inventory plans.
  • Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) or equivalent processes to align demand, supply, and financial goals.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet service targets while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and plan adherence.
Warehouse & Distribution Operations
  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure warehouse processes support efficient material flow, safety, and on-time, accurate order fulfillment. Stay current on inventory and warehousing best practices
  • Implement systems and controls for inventory tracking, cycle counting, and physical audits.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, labor utilization, and material handling processes to improve productivity and reduce costs, including barcoding and similar technology integration.
  • Manage logistics and transportation relationships to ensure cost-effective and reliable delivery.
Financial & Business Management
  • Own operational budgets related to materials, inventory, freight, and warehouse labor.
  • Identify and execute cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives without compromising service or quality.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support executive leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations.
People Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams across supply chain planning, procurement, and warehouse operations.
  • Establish clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations.
  • Champion a culture of psychological safety, ownership, and continuous improvement while building strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Build scalable processes and organizational capabilities to support future growth.
Required skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8-12+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, including planning, procurement, and warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience managing complex, end-to-end supply chains in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience using ERP/MRP systems, proficiency with NetSuite and Excel is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguity and organizational change with empathy and clear communication.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, bend down, and squat throughout the day as necessary.
