Job summary

SelectTech Services seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our defense-focused supply chain. The role emphasizes government property compliance, Costpoint and AVL oversight, and supplier performance management.

You will drive cost-effective procurement, deploy AI-driven sourcing, and lead teams across Purchasing, Inventory, Tool Control, and Shipping/Receiving while coordinating across Colorado and Ohio facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics with leadership experience in defense/aerospace.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint Inventory Management and BSI systems, or similar.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% between CO and OH facilities.
  • Knowledge of government property management regulations and FAR/DFARS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of inventory, including government-owned property, in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage Costpoint Inventory modules for accuracy, accountability, and audit readiness.
  • Oversee BSI management and ensure adherence to processes.
  • Direct shipping and receiving operations for timely material deployment.
  • Lead strategic sourcing using AI-driven tools to evaluate and select suppliers.
  • Oversee purchasing and procurement for cost-effective acquisitions.
  • Monitor material delivery schedules and metrics to meet program milestones.
  • Collaborate with Quality to validate the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
  • Support quoting and proposal efforts with cost estimation and market analysis.
  • Drive technology adoption and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
  • Direct and mentor Purchasing, Inventory, Tool Control, and Shipping/Receiving staff.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize all facets of our supply chain operations within the defense sector. This role will focus on leveraging advanced technology, data analytics, and defense industry best practices to drive operational excellence. The Supply Chain Manager will ensure the timely delivery of mission-critical materials, manage strategic sourcing initiatives, maintain robust supplier performance, and ensure strict compliance with government property regulations, DFARS, and other applicable defense contracting requirements.

This role requires regular travel between our Ohio and Colorado facilities, particularly during the initial phase as we establish and scale operations in Colorado. Candidates should be comfortable with periodic travel, including overnight stays as needed, to collaborate closely with teams at both locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight of inventory, including management of government-owned property, in full compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Manage Costpoint Inventory modules to ensure accuracy, accountability, and audit readiness.
  • Oversee BSI management and ensure adherence to system processes.
  • Direct shipping and receiving operations, ensuring materials are deployed quickly and efficiently.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, leveraging AI-driven tools and technology to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
  • Provide oversight of purchasing and procurement activities to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely acquisitions.
  • Monitor schedules and metrics related to material delivery performance, enabling the organization to Operate with Confidence in meeting program milestones.
  • Collaborate with Quality to validate and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL), ensuring supplier reliability and alignment with performance standards.
  • Support quoting and proposal efforts through material cost estimation, vendor quoting, and market analysis.
  • Drive technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to enhance visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Direct and mentor staff across Purchasing, Inventory, Tool Control, and Shipping/Receiving functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, with demonstrated leadership experience within the defense and aerospace industry.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint Inventory ManagementandBSI systems, or similar systems required.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25% between our Colorado facility and our Dayton, OH facility.
  • Strong understanding of government property management regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technology-driven solutions for supply chain optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting government contracting environments is a plus
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS compliance requirements is a plus
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
