Job summary

TEiC is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our purchasing and procurement operations supporting industrial construction, maintenance, outage, and field services projects across North America. This leadership role develops procurement strategy, strengthens supplier partnerships, and leads purchasing personnel across both office and field environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced business education preferred.
5+ years in procurement/purchasing with 3+ years of people leadership.
Construction/industrial services experience required.
Proven supplier negotiations and relationships.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Excellent communication and leadership at all levels.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop TEiC's purchasing organization across corporate and field procurement.
Provide strategic guidance on supplier and subcontractor selection for quality, compliance, and success.
Oversee supplier relationships, negotiations, and commercial agreements to achieve best value.
Partner with Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Field Leadership to support execution.
Drive procurement process improvements, best practices, and efficiencies.
Lead pricing, terms, contract conditions, supplier performance, and claims resolution negotiations.
Monitor supplier performance, market changes, and supply chain risks with mitigation.
Support inventory and procurement planning to optimize cost and readiness.
Ensure procurement activities align with policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.

What You'll Do

Partner closely with Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Field Leadership to support project execution and customer commitments.
Drive procurement process improvements, best practices, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
Lead negotiations related to pricing, commercial terms, contract conditions, supplier performance, and claims resolution.
Monitor supplier performance, market changes, and supply chain risks while implementing mitigation strategies.
Support inventory and procurement planning to optimize cost, availability, and project readiness.
Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced business education is a plus.
5+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related leadership experience with an additional 3 years of people leadership experience.
Construction, industrial services, power generation, manufacturing, or related industry experience required.
Demonstrated success leading supplier negotiations and managing commercial relationships.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
