Job summary

Adecco Portugal is partnering with an aerospace and defense manufacturer to hire a Supply Chain Manager who will lead purchasing, production planning, sourcing, and supplier performance.

This hands-on leader will develop teams, improve material flow, and keep manufacturing operations on schedule while driving cross-functional collaboration to resolve material constraints and support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of supply chain experience: hands-on leadership in purchasing, planning, and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a track record of delivering supplier performance improvements.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or comparable manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of purchasing, production planning, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Proven ability to coach teams and drive measurable operational improvements.
