Job description

Job Description Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International? Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Matter. As an organization we are committed to developing the next generation of Makers and Bakers. Joining us at an early career stage in our fast paced and ever changing environment will enable you to do more, learn more and grow more. You will be encouraged to step outside your comfort zone– you may even surprise yourself! We will ensure you are given the support you need to be at your best and enable you to be yourself and bring passion and personality. Here you can lean in and speak up and bring your own flavor. Mondelēz International was recognized as one of the Top 100 Intern Programs in the US in 2026 by Yello & WayUp and one of the Best Companies for New Graduates by Forbes.

The Supply Leadership Development Program is a three-year rotational experience designed to build a strong, end-to-end understanding of how our Integrated Supply Chain enables our business and delivers our products to consumers every day. The program offers two distinct tracks, a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Track and a Technical Track, each designed to develop future leaders through meaningful, hands‑on experiences across different parts of the supply chain. All participants will begin their first rotation in a Manufacturing setting, where they will learn how our plants operate end to end, lead continuous improvement projects, and build a strong operational foundation. From there, participants will rotate through headquarters and field assignments, gaining exposure to functions such as Supply Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Customer Service & Logistics, and other parts of our Integrated Supply Chain organization. Each rotation is designed to build on the last, developing progressively broader leadership capabilities over the course of the program. Throughout the program, participants will take on meaningful roles and projects tied to real business priorities, working alongside cross-functional teams to solve problems, improve processes, and drive results. This is not a shadowing experience. Participants own real work with real impact and senior leadership visibility from day one. Development extends beyond each rotational assignment. Participants will have access to master classes, functional and leadership training, site visits, a layered mentorship structure (including an Executive Sponsor, Program Lead, Functional Manager, and Dedicated Mentor), networking opportunities, and exposure to leaders across the organization. Digital and AI fluency will be embedded as a core development thread throughout all three years of the program. By the completion of the program, participants will have built a comprehensive understanding of our end-to-end, demand‑driven supply chain, developed a diverse set of experiences across the organization, and established a strong foundation to continue growing their career and making an impact within our ISC organization.

Start Date for this position will be: July 26th, 2027

This program requires geographic flexibility. Participants should expect to relocate once per year as they move through their rotational assignments. All relocations are fully supported through the program's relocation benefits. Potential locations for the first year include: Chicago, IL Naperville, IL Richmond, VA Portland, OR Indianapolis, IN Twin Falls, ID

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preferred graduation date of May 2027. Bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations and related fields. Must be open and willing to relocate annually as part of the program's rotational structure. Relocation costs are covered through the program's relocation benefits. The ideal candidate is analytically curious, digitally fluent, and enterprise‑minded. They lead through influence before authority, define progress by the people they develop and the systems they improve, and are ready to transform the supply chain from within. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:
  • Learning Agility: The ability to adapt faster than the environment changes. You thrive in ambiguity and pick up new concepts quickly.
  • Influence Without Authority: You lead through ideas before titles. You can rally a team, build consensus, and drive outcomes through collaboration.
  • Ownership and Accountability: You own outcomes, not just tasks. You are proactive, drive change, and take initiative without waiting to be told.
  • Communication and Storytelling: You make the complex simple and inspire action through clarity. You can present to a room of operators or a room of executives with equal confidence.
  • Analytical Thinking: You make evidence‑based decisions. You are comfortable with data, root‑cause analysis, and translating numbers into actionable insights.
  • Growth Mindset and Self‑Awareness: You develop yourself first so you can develop others. You seek feedback, reflect on your experiences, and continuously improve.
  • Collaborative Leadership: You build teams, not empires. You multiply capability and bring out the best in those around you.
  • Resilience and Courage: You persist through ambiguity, make tough calls, and stand behind them. You sustain your energy and composure under pressure.
  • Enterprise Thinking: You see the whole system and optimize for the organization, not just your function. You are curious about how decisions in one area impact the entire supply chain.
  • Digital Fluency: You leverage technology to multiply impact. You do not fear disruption; you drive it. Comfort with AI, data tools, and emerging technologies is a must.
