Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to manage inventory requests and dispense parts to production departments on day and night shifts. The role requires unloading deliveries, verifying freight, and keeping accurate records while coordinating with carriers for service.

Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, and picking items, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting other departments with routine deliveries and predictable supply needs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and forklift certification (or ability to obtain) are needed.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive merchandise by unloading vehicles, check for damage, and verify freight bills.
  • Fill orders by identifying items, pulling stock, packing/labeling, noting back orders, and verifying completeness.
  • Prepare orders for carrier service, label, and arrange pickup or delivery to the carrier; maintain carrier records.
  • Control inventory through physical counts and reconciliation in the inventory system; notify purchasing when reorder points are reached.
  • Respond to information requests and input/generate data; complete forms as needed.
  • Support other departments by delivering standard orders routinely and anticipating predictable supply needs.
  • Maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment by cleaning, performing preventive maintenance, and reporting issues.

The Supply Chain/Inventory Specialist will be responsible for filling inventory requests by receiving and dispensing the parts and supplies to production departments.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Receives merchandise by unloading vehicles; checking merchandise for damage; verifying freight bill.
  • Fills orders by identifying items requested; pulling items from stock; packing and labeling items; noting back order; verifying completeness.
  • Prepares orders for carrier service by packing and labeling merchandise delivering to carrier or arranging pickup, maintaining carrier records.
  • Controls inventory by conducting physical counts and reconciling with inventory system; notifying purchasing department when reorder points are reached; retrieving unused or excess supplies and equipment and reentering them to inventory.
  • Provides information by answering questions; inputting and generating data; completing forms.
  • Supports other departments by establishing routine deliveries of standard orders; determining other predictable supply needs.
  • Maintains warehouse vehicles and equipment by cleaning; following manufacturer's standards of use; performing and scheduling preventive maintenance; reporting damage or mechanical problems to supervisor.
