Job summary

Unitech Composites in Hayden, ID is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support shipping, receiving, stores and purchasing, ensuring production flows smoothly. The role travels between work centers to keep stations stocked and operations aligned with production schedules.

You will operate in a day shift, with occasional extended hours, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Obtain Forklift Certification.
• Organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize and plan work activities.
• Manage competing demands, and change approach or method to best fit the situation.
• Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, technically focused manufacturing environment is essential.

• Demonstrated success working in highly collaborative multi-function environment, with experience in achieving goals and KPI’s.
• Excellent follow through and execution of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Expedite parts through their manufacturing process to facilitate flow.
• Notifies the department of any material shortages.
• Expedites work orders as needed.
• Assistance in wrapping finished goods and preparing shipments.
• Training as a back up for both shipping and receiving functions.
• Develops, maintains, and monitors compliance with all production control schedule policies and procedures.
• Identifies all inventory shortages.
• Transport tools to and from holding area to support production areas.
• Verify and ensure work order accuracy, including accurate part identification labels and quantities.
• Ability to identify and escalates problems or exceptions to the appropriate people.
• Fill and maintain adequate levels of consumables goods assigned to production areas.
• Recommend changes to improve workflow.
• Work independently and as a team member to fulfill department goals or objectives.
• Support the safety programs / goals within the scope of the job.
• Exemplary and predictable attendance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Maintain compliance to applicable Company, Corporate, State, and Federal Regulations.
• Other duties may include receiving and issuing parts or tooling, storekeeping and inventory control, cycle counting, scanning, document control, and housekeeping.
