Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Logistics Trainee/Apprentice for a fixed-term contract based in Smyrna, Tennessee. You will support day-to-day logistics operations, including order processing, material handling, warehousing and transport, while assisting data analysis and documentation initiatives within the department.

You should be a recent graduate or senior in Supply Chain or Logistics, proficient with Google Workspace, and able to work independently with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Senior status or recently graduated with a BA/BS in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Proficiency in Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in day to day operations of all logistic activities including order processing, material handling, warehousing and transportation.
• Be involved in data analysis, documentation management and improvement projects within the department.
• Provide administrative support for various logistic processes such as order processing, inventory control and material handling.
• Analyze data related to shipments, deliveries and transportation costs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist in meetings and discussions with team members to stay updated on current issues and future plans.
