Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to model and interpret large datasets.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exposure to market intelligence, data analytics, or supplier management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Quoting parts, contacting suppliers, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Tracking spend and usage, analyzing trends, and proposing improvements.
• Monitoring and driving metrics to improve supplier performance.
• Identifying value creation opportunities and evaluating industry trends.
• Conducting market assessments and competitor product reviews.
• Supporting development of proprietary database tools.
• Assisting the market intelligence team with special projects.
• Researching and updating supply chain databases to support quick responses to market and supply disruptions.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and creating SOPs for data analytics and market intelligence activities.
• Completing ad hoc reports and projects that align with the intern's skill set and development goals

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours/week, May to August 2027

ITT Aerospace Controls, a leading industrial manufacturer of engineered components serving aerospace, defense, transportation, and energy markets, is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Intern to join our growing team in Valencia, CA. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in supply chain operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Interns will receive mentorship and guidance to become highly effective contributors to the supply chain organization, while developing skills in market intelligence, data analytics, and supplier management.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to model and interpret large datasets
