Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. This role will gain real-world experience in managing the materials and logistics that power high-tech electronic production.

You will assist in procurement, coordinate with vendors, support inventory control, and help improve processes with ERP data updates. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in SCM or related field and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree in SCM, IE, business, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in procurement of components and materials for PCBA production.
• Working with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Supporting inventory control, materials planning, and shortage mitigation.
• Analyzing supplier performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Helping coordinate logistics, receiving, and tracking of materials.
• Assisting with ERP system updates, BOM validations, and data clean-up.
• Participating in continuous improvement projects related to cost, delivery, and process efficiency
