Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls LLC in Valencia, CA, offers a Summer 2027 Supply Chain Intern position. This hands-on program provides mentorship and exposure to market intelligence, data analytics, and supplier management within an aerospace manufacturing setting.

Interns will quote parts, track spend, analyze trends, and support KPI improvements while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to gain real-world experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to model and interpret large datasets.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exposure to market intelligence, data analytics, or supplier management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Quoting parts, contacting suppliers, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Tracking spend and usage, analyzing trends, and proposing improvements.
• Monitoring and driving metrics to improve supplier performance.
• Identifying value creation opportunities and evaluating industry trends.
• Conducting market assessments and competitor product reviews.
• Supporting development of proprietary database tools.
• Assisting the market intelligence team with special projects.
• Researching and updating supply chain databases to support quick responses to market and supply disruptions.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and creating SOPs for data analytics and market intelligence activities.
• Completing ad hoc reports and projects that align with the intern's skill set and development goals
