Job summary

The Zurn Elkay Supply Chain Internship supporting the Zurn Wilkins Water Control and Safety business unit offers a hands‑on learning environment where you will develop technical, business, and leadership skills during the assignment.

You will assist the Supply Chain team in collecting and analyzing data related to operations and generate reports to inform decision‑making, with exposure to cross‑functional collaboration during the Summer 2027 program in California.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a major in business – Supply Chain preferred.
• Must have at least a junior standing and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Efficient and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain team in collecting and analyzing data related to operations.

The Zurn Elkay Supply Chain Internship supporting the Zurn Wilkins Water Control and Safety business unit, offers a great opportunity for exposure in a hands-on learning environment. You will have the opportunity to develop a variety of technical, business, and leadership skills during the assignment.

The responsibilities the intern will complete include assisting the Supply Chain team in collecting and analyzing data related to operations and generating reports.

As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:

• - Networking Events – Zurn Elkay hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.
• - Coaching and Mentoring – You will have a structured on boarding process to introduce you to Zurn Elkay's corporate culture and provide you with regular feedback.
• - Real Work Experience – Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you with a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.

Key Accountabilities

• - Support the operations team in various tasks, including coordinating with different departments, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth workflow.
• - Evaluate quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
• - Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• - Maintains and analyzes inventory levels and makes recommendations.
• - Analyze existing operations and propose innovative ideas to streamline procedures and reduce costs.
• - Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to operations. Generate reports and presentations summarizing key findings to assist in decision‑making processes.
• - Assist in project planning and labor cost and resource allocation.
• - Maintain accurate documentation and records related to operations, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and performance metrics.
• - Collaborate with key leaders and teams to facilitate effective communication, resolve operational issues, and ensure alignment across departments.
