Job summary

Rocket Lab in Middle River, MD, is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support process improvements and cost reductions within a fast-paced team. You will work closely with mentors to gain hands-on experience in purchasing and flow of services, materials, and components.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in an engineering-related program, maintains a 3.0 GPA, and has 3+ months of supply chain exposure. The role is on-site for a minimum 12 weeks starting May/June 2027, with relocation stipend

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate program in an engineering discipline, Business Administration, Operation Management, or Industrial Engineering with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.

As a Supply Chain Intern based at Rocket Lab's site in Middle River, Maryland, you will have the opportunity to support the Supply Chain Team in identifying process improvement and cost reduction opportunities. Rocket Lab's Supply Chain teamis responsible forthe purchasing and managing the flow of all services, materials, products, and components throughout the business.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate program inan engineering discipline,Business Administration,Operation Management,or Industrial Engineeringand have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas ofsupply chain.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• 6+ months of corporate function experience within the areas ofsupply chain.
• Experience using SQL
• Experience with Visio
• Six Sigma Experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027

COMPENSATION AND OTHER BENEFITS

• Pay RangeMD: $22.00 USD Hourly
• You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize relocation costs

Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base Pay Range (MD Only)

$22 - $22 USD
