Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Supply Chain Intern at its Silver Spring, MD site. The role supports inventory optimization, supplier relationships, and risk mitigation to balance availability with working capital and freight costs.

You’ll work closely with mentors, apply engineering concepts, and participate in intern events to develop professionally. You will be enrolled in a relevant degree program with a GPA of 3.0+ and have at least one semester remaining.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate program in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operations Management with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.
• Ambiguity-tolerant team player who can lead development projects with minimal supervision.

As aSupply ChainIntern based at Rocket Lab’s site inSilver Spring, Maryland, you will have the opportunity tosupport theteam thatoptimizesinventory levels, handles supplier relationships, and mitigates operational risks to balance high product availability with minimal working capital and freight costs.The Supply Chain and Procurement team manages the end-to-end flow of materials necessary to sustain production lines and satisfy customer demand.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate program inan engineering discipline,SupplyChain,BusinessAdministration,orOperation Managementand have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas ofsupply chain.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• 6+ months of corporate function experience within the areas ofsupply chain.
• ExperiencewithSQL,PowerBI, and Tableau
• Experience with ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning January, February, or March 2027

COMPENSATION AND OTHER BENEFITS

• Pay RangeMD: $22.00 USD Hourly
• You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize relocation costs
• Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
