Job summary

Rocket Lab’s Tucson, AZ site is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to join the Optical Systems team. You’ll work closely with mentors, supporting build processes with cross-functional partners across production, program, and quality to improve on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and real-world application of engineering and supply chain concepts in a fast-paced environment. This 12-week on-site internship includes a $22/hour pay rate and relocation stipend eligibility.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate program in engineering, supply chain, business administration, or operations management with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the supply chain domain.
• A minimum 12-week full-time on-site internship beginning Jan/Feb/Mar 2027 may be required.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Intern based at Rocket Lab’s site in Tucson, Arizona, you will have the opportunity to be a part of Rocket Lab Optical Systems Supply Chain team that works cross-functionally with the production, program, and quality to support the build of our products. This team strives to continually improve our practices to support on-time delivery.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will thrive in ambiguity and are excited to work in small, high-performing teams that are focused on continued learning and growth. Success in this position will be measured by the knowledge and experience you bring to the role, your ability to lead development projects without supervision, and your ability to successfully collaborate across teams to deliver results.

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate program in an engineering discipline, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operation Management and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.

• GPA of 3.0 or above.

• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

• GPA of 3.5 or above.

• 6+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.

• Proficient in Excel

• Knowledge of inventory practices

• Strong communication skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning January, February, or March 2027

COMPENSATION AND OTHER BENEFITS

• Pay Rate: $22.00 USD Hourly

• You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize relocation costs
