Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Supply Chain Management Intern for Fort Dodge, IA, from May 17 to August 6, 2027. You will learn to balance production capacity, inventory targets, and customer demand while gaining exposure to production planning, logistics, quality management, and finance.

This hands-on internship offers mentorship and housing support. You will work with cross-functional teams to coordinate PD batches, new product launches, and ERP data management in SAP.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing weekly and monthly production schedules for assigned work-centers.
• Communicate with management, floor personnel, and partners about production issues.
• Support inventory analysis of distressed or obsolete materials to mitigate loss.
• Ensure raw materials are available and released before orders.
• Understand safety stock levels and ERP data in SAP.
• Coordinate non-commercial demand and new product launches with cross-functional teams.
