Job summary

RTX's Columbus Engine Center is seeking students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field to join our MRO-oriented team in Columbus, GA. You will help drive cost reduction, inventory control, and KPI development while supporting gate-delivery processes and risk management initiatives.

This role emphasizes hands-on experience through on-the-job activities, coursework projects, and potential internships, preparing you for future professional responsibilities within RTX’s

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree studying Supply Chain Discipline or related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA; RTX internship, co-op, or work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prioritize and solve production issues with internal suppliers to align with gated deliveries.
Develop processes, systems, and KPIs to be used by shop logistics and materials teams.
Seek opportunities to reduce costs, control inventory, and increase efficiency.
Identifies and manages risk utilizing lean tools to propose risk management solutions.
Provide analysis and develop recommendations for corrective actions due to process failures.
