Job summary

RTX's Columbus Engine Center is seeking students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field to join our MRO-oriented team in Columbus, GA. You will help drive cost reduction, inventory control, and KPI development while supporting gate-delivery processes and risk management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and solve production issues with internal suppliers to align with gated deliveries.
• Develop processes, systems, and KPIs to be used by shop logistics and materials teams.
• Seek opportunities to reduce costs, control inventory, and increase efficiency.
• Identifies and manages risk utilizing lean tools to propose risk management solutions.
• Provide analysis and develop recommendations for corrective actions due to process failures.

What You Will Do

Columbus Engine Center is the largest Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) shop for the Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbo Fan (GTF). The GTF engine family is the quietest, most efficient, most environmental in its class, delivering the lowest fuel consumption and CO2 emissions for single-aisle aircraft. Columbus Engine Center also houses the Military Engine Center of Excellence which performs MRO activities on a number of military engine models. With 550,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and an expansion underway, Columbus Engine Center is looking for dedicated individuals to help support and grow our organization. Key Responsibilities

You Must Have

Relocation Eligibility

This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
