Job summary

Ag Leader is seeking a detail-oriented individual pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain or related field to join our purchasing team. You will work with Buyers on past-due orders, contact suppliers for due dates, and help improve product flow on the production floor.

You will gain hands-on experience collaborating with engineering and production teams, learning Epicor ERP, and supporting timely procurement processes in a fast-paced environment at our Ames, IA campus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, general business, engineering, technical or related programs.
• Highly detail oriented and accuracy driven.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with Buyers for past due orders of critical components.
• Contact suppliers and get best available due dates and update Epicor with information.
• Collaborate with team members on a project to improve product flow on production floor.
• Other purchasing duties as they are identified.
