Job summary

Dot Foods invites a motivated full-time student to join our internship program in Tennessee. You will train across departments, shadow leaders, and own a project from conception to presentation, gaining real-world experience in workflows, data, and process improvement.

During Summer 2027 you’ll complete at least 350 hours, travel may be required, and you’ll apply lean thinking to identify waste. Strong communication and MS Office skills are a plus as you contribute to a collaborative, inclusive

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a degree at a local college/university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Training and job-shadowing to understand workflows across the company.
• Leadership/ownership of assigned project(s).
• Participate in a team project with other interns.
• Problem definition, research, data collection, analysis to determine best processes.
• Review, update, and track a variety of reports.
• Present project information at the culmination of the internship.
• Applies lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste.
