Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking Supply Chain Interns for 2027 opportunities. Interns will support procurement, logistics, and analytics within our Supply Chain team, gaining hands-on experience while learning from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

Enrolled and actively pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in business Supply Chain Management as a student.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

Assisting procurement activities including data cleansing, data deep dives, metrics creation and maintenance, material contract bidding, negotiations and awards.
Supporting Supply Chain Operations within the Material Services/Logistics department.
Performing support functions and more complex tasks with prioritization, deadlines, and documentation.
Preparing reports and summaries under general direction for various company sources.
Participating as an active team member contributing to program development and planning.
Following safety rules and maintaining an organized workspace.
